About me

My name is Ritu Kumari. I have over eight years of work experience as a senior process executive at Cognizant Technology Solutions, an American MNC. My role and responsibilities are to manage different IT processes, use user data and queries to find trends and issues, resolve issues and maintain client relationships. At Cognizant, I have been working with one of the leading companies in the search engine and navigation map market for over eight years. Currently, I’m part of its geometric workflow. I’m involved in identifying the user intent from the database of navigational queries, doing real-world verification of the location of the query result, analyzing the reasons for failed queries, finding solutions, updating the internal navigation map and reverifying, and directly communicating it to the client This professional experience has given me excellent exposure to user data analysis, IT project lifecycle, data dashboards, charts, client-centric operations management, and client satisfaction by achieving delivery timelines and service quality norms. Before coming to Cognizant, I received Bachelor of Commerce(BCom) and Management of Business Administration(MBA) degrees. Studying subjects like Business Organization and Management, Fundamental of Information Technology (IT), Business Statistics, Accounting at my undergraduate college helped me gain knowledge and skills to understand modern Business and Economics. The course contents at my MBA studies gave me a broad exposure to the core areas of Finance, Statistics for Management, Strategic Management, Decision Support Systems, and IT applications for Business. Academically I secured first division with distinction in my MBA program.
